10 Rooms I Recently Bookmarked That I Could Stare at All Day

Project 365, Day 106/365

Sometimes, you just need to look at some photos of some pretty rooms, and that’s exactly what I’m gonna have you do today. On another quick note, thank you all for your kind messages and emails yesterday. I didn’t reply individually to them all as I like to do, but I did read them and carry them close to me.

I hope to be back mentally soon with some more proper writing, but until then, here are some rooms I’ve saved lately, just ’cause.

I will always and forever love a built-in banquette moment. And while I’m typically one for more color, I love the subtle pattern on that fabric on the upholstery.

If there’s a room Dabito of Old Brand New designed, I probably have it bookmarked or Pinned somewhere. To me, he’s a master of layering—layering colors, layering textures, layering old and new. His rooms are definitely thumb-stoppers, and that’s just looking at them in tiny squares on my phone. I’m sure they’re breath-stopping in person.

One day, if I fall into some incredible wealth, mark my words: I will be hiring Hendricks Churchill to design one of my homes (you know, because of my incredible wealth, I’ll have a few…because that’s necessary haha). Their designs speak to the eclectic lover inside me and they have a mastery of color that makes it all seem so…neutral.

I can hardly ever resist a lemon print. And on a headboard? I mean, it’s wild, but man does it make me happy.

There you go again, Dabito. I’m pretty smitten with the tassels hanging off the sides of the mirror, in particular. It’s all in the details, folks.

For my country cottage, when I have one with my incredible wealth, I imagine the rooms being “undesigned” sort of like this space. Just something warm, comfortable, something you could read a book in, you know?

Well, this is just plain fun. You know how I am about my peach lately.

I’m pretty sure I saved this for that custom headboard. Just darling, don’t you think?

I’m not so much about the color palette here, but I’ve been thinking more about painting my baseboards and crown molding the same color as my wall (or a hue darker), and I started saving photos where that’s happening.

It’s the kitchen for me here. Painted woodworking, great use of color, a certain je ne sais quoi, Hendricks Churchill strikes again!

See you tomorrow, friends.
