Florida-bred, current Angeleno coming through your screen to be friends, thanks for being here.
A quick recap: After being a shelter (i.e. home stuff) and lifestyle editor, spending my days writing about the best vacuum/sheets/Instant Pot recipe/DD+ underwire swimsuit for 13 years, I decided to start the Arlyn Says newsletter which quickly transitioned into this website.
What I write about: Advice and product recommendations based on things that have worked for me—clothing and beauty items, my tried-and-true everything, and super useful design tips I’ve learned during my years in the field. I’ve also been known to punch out a lengthy essay on numerous “life” topics, and design a room or two to show off on the internet.
One thing I promise my readers: what I create will always be open, honest, authentic and helpful…and maybe a little long-winded (#sorrynotsorry). I’m doing this because I LOVE guiding people to find things that work for them.
