roject 365, Day 215/365

WELCOME TO DAY 215 of PROJECT 365. Do you know what that means? It means there are exactly 150 days left in this year, and 150 posts left to tackle. WHAT?!? While that still feels like…a lot, I do realize how quickly it’ll all go. Wow, we’ve been in this together for over 200 days and I can barely believe it. I say this every time, but never did I ever think I’d get this far. But here I am, day after day, showing up, essentially only because you’re here. Thank you as always. While some days and weeks (and months) are easier than others—and you know I do not shy away from writing about those tough periods—I’m so grateful for the time, health (ish) and fortitude to do this every day.

Here’s to the next 150 days, and here’s what I’m grateful for this week beyond how far we’ve ALL come this year:

I’m grateful for CHEESE and dairy, which I reintroduced over a few days, then backed away from, then brought back and so far, don’t feel much of a difference. Friends, I was VERY sad without dairy.

I’m grateful for tacos.

I’m grateful for a caring boss.

I’m grateful for naps (and that I’m an easy sleeper).

I’m grateful for flowy dresses.

I’m grateful for parks and trees and afternoon breezes.

I’m grateful for my love of design.

I’m grateful for a haircut so I no longer have to pull my long strands out of my armpits when I move weirdly in bed (true story).

I’m grateful for my air fryer.

I’m grateful for East Fork’s new, beautiful finish, Harvest Moon (I picked up two of their Everyday Bowls which are my absolute favorite dinnerware of the moment).

I’m grateful for supportive bras (hey…it’s real out here when you’re chesty).

I’m grateful for an ice maker and all the ice I want to chew even if it is bad for my teeth…or so I’ve been told.

I’m grateful for you.

See you tomorrow, FOAS.
