Cherries, Sandals, Beautiful Rooms: My Tuesday Gratitudes

Project 365, Day 131/365

Spoiler alert: I am not writing this on Monday night for Tuesday. I sat down on Saturday to punch out a handful of blog posts just in case I started to feel abysmal either on Saturday night or Sunday from the second dose of the vaccine. It feels a bit like cheating my “write every day” rule, but I also didn’t want to be absent, so pre-writing it is.

I’m trying to project forward a few days and channel Monday-night Arlyn…what would she be grateful for? Here’s my best guess (but also, just what I’m grateful for now):

I’m grateful for my second vaccine dose and feeling dandy.

I’m grateful for mothers and caregivers.

I’m grateful for seasonal fruit like cherries, mangos, apricots. Yum!

I’m grateful for chocolate croissants.

I’m grateful for friends that check in on you…just in case.

I’m grateful for good co-workers.

I’m grateful for my trusty Birkenstocks.

I’m grateful for beautiful rooms (like this one from Reagan Baker Design), beautiful art, beautiful design.

I’m grateful for movies. Oh how I adore movies.

I’m grateful for mornings.

I’m grateful for a partner like Charles.

I’m grateful for trees.

I’m grateful for FOAS.

See you tomorrow, friends.
