Kind Neighbors, Cheese, App Limits: My Weekly Gratitudes
Crack those knuckles, dust off your spirit…it’s time for some Tuesday gratitudes. It’s funny. When I first started doing this way back in January, I was mostly doing it for myself. To start a gratitudes practice, start my week off with a positive, thankful mind and spirit, but seeing how everyone, every week, joins along is so lovely. I love reading through all of your own gratitudes, and hope it adds a little something to your day, too.
That said, here’s what I’m thankful for today:
I’m grateful for my home and the street I live on.
I’m grateful for how delicious it is to create your own “spa” waters just by adding slices of cucumber, lemon and mint sprigs to a pitcher. I’ve been sipping it all day.
I’m grateful for neighbors that randomly surprise you with a hot dinner to be kind and helpful.
I’m grateful that my baby rubber tree seems to have sprouted some new leaves after months of looking awfully yellow and sickly.
I’m grateful for cheese.
I’m grateful for the return of nice, cool fall weather after a very hot weekend.
I’m grateful for my new wonderful prenatal chiropractor.
I’m grateful that I set new time limits on certain apps on my phone like Instagram so I get prompted to be done for the day and go do something else.
I’m grateful for Epsom salt baths.
I’m grateful for a healthy pregnancy.
I’m grateful for a supportive partner and supportive family who love me endlessly.
I’m grateful for beautiful things…all the beautiful things.
I’m grateful for The Beach Boys on vinyl.
I’m grateful for you, readers.
See you tomorrow, FOAS.
