New Design Ideas, Grilled Cheese, Nature Docs: My Weekly Gratitudes
Project 365, Day 194/365
Welcome friends, to another edition of my weekly gratitudes. I hope everyone had wonderful weekends full of exactly the right amount of everything that makes you happy and 0% of things that don’t make you happy. I was able to spend some time tinkering around with some new ideas and options for my bedroom. As some of you said in yesterday’s post, if something isn’t moving forward, it’s probably for a reason. I realized that I just wasn’t in love with the color palette that I originally set out to create any longer. It felt a bit too heavy, there wasn’t enough “me” in it…it was all too modern. But I stepped back, tried a few new things, and thought “okay…now we’re getting somewhere.” I’ll share what I’ve cooked up soon (maybe tomorrow!).
Until then, here’s what I’m so grateful for today:
I’m grateful for having been able to see two different sets of friends this weekend.
I’m grateful for (gluten-free) grilled cheese sandwiches.
I’m grateful for hot showers.
I’m grateful for cold A/C.
I’m grateful for seasonal peaches.
I’m grateful for my mom getting another year on this earth (happy birthday, mommy!).
I’m grateful for National Geographic nature documentaries on Disney+.
I’m grateful for a bit of new inspiration for my bedroom design.
I’m grateful to be inching forward on my friend’s townhouse design project I’m helping him with.
I’m grateful for good neighbors.
I’m grateful for you.
See you tomorrow, FOAS.
