Project 365, Day 40

There’s something very nice about starting my week taking stock of random things I’m thankful and grateful for. You may read it on Tuesday, but hey, they’re all still true. A bit cheesy and a softball post? Of course, but I’m still enjoying it, so #sorrynotsorry.

Here’s what popped into my mind, would love to hear yours!

I’m thankful my parents got vaccinated.

I’m thankful my family is healthy.

I’m thankful for pasta.

I’m thankful for donuts (on the occasion).

I’m thankful for just-warm-enough sunny winters.

I’m thankful for the two avocado pits I tried to sprout at the beginning of quarantine that I finally potted and are on their way to looking like real trees.

I’m thankful for being able to wear cozy sweats 99% of the time.

I’m thankful for follow-up appointments with my doctor that make me feel cared for.

I’m thankful for all healthcare workers, grocery store clerks, everyone who doesn’t have the option to work from home to keep this world running.

I’m thankful for fuzzy blankets that I can dig my toes into on chilly nights.

I’m thankful for indoor plants.

I’m thankful for the warm, soft light that fills my living room most of the day.

I’m thankful for that hummingbird I saw on a walk recently. Wow was it cool.

I’m thankful for my special mug my nephews sent me for my birthday.

I’m thankful for you.

See you tomorrow, friends!
