Project 365, Day 211/365

WE DID IT! WE MADE IT! I told you last week that’s just how I’m starting all my Friday posts from now on, and I’m sticking to it. Though my week was a little shorter having been off Monday, it still dragged. We haven’t been getting out much recently—haven’t even stepped foot on the beach for a lillordag sunset in weeks—so the days are particularly dull and draggy. But all the time inside just gives me more time to find things to share with you, including:

Quick Thing #1

This post could very easily be full of five (plus) things I can’t wait to eventually try as long as I’m able to eat them when I reintroduce some things. But I won’t do that. I will, however, share this delicious-sounding whipped ricotta dip I read about today. Woo wee this sounds good. I’ve never made my own fresh ricotta, but I’ve watched plenty of videos. Seems easy enough.

Quick Thing #2

The other week, when I was purchasing a few new shirts to add to my summer wardrobe, I added these clearance sandals to my cart at the last minute. They were final sale, so it was a risk, but I LOVE them. I’m normally a 7.5 in open-toe sandals, but the reviews noted to size up. The 8 fits greats. Looks like with the sale and additional offer, they come in at around $25.

Quick Thing #3

If you’re anything like me, you have stacks of sample paint pots sitting around in a random corner of your home or garage. I thought this article had some fun ideas to do (particularly painting the inside ridge of a frame).

Quick Thing #4

Okay YES. Buffalo chicken taquitos!!! I think I can hack these to be gluten- and dairy-free for sure. I’ve made plenty of Whole30 buffalo chicken dip in my day. I can’t believe I’ve never thought to do this, but…I’m into it.

Quick Thing #5

Just a dreamy moment in a pretty little kitchen.

See you tomorrow, FOAS.
