Fall, Rain Showers, BLTs: My Weekly Gratitudes

Project 365, Day 231/365

Happy Tuesday Gratitudes day friends. When I saw the last two Tuesday pass with some gratitudes being shared in the comments, that made me smile. As I mentioned yesterday, I didn’t keep up with all your comments, but I did see them pop up and on the occasion, I’d skim or read through, depending on what I was doing. Thank you again for keeping the blog warm in my absence.

This week, I have so much to be grateful for. I mean, I do every week, but my tank is full so it feels extra easy to list out, from the little seemingly meaningless to the biggies.

Here’s what I’m extra grateful for today:

Having witnessed rain shower after rain shower while in Florida. Standing by the window watching the rain never grew old.

Friends and family that showered Charles and me with love.

The comfort of my home bed upon my return (and a clean apartment…thank goodness I cleaned before we left!).

Neighbors who watched over our things and helped with annoying tasks while we were away.

Summer heirloom tomatoes and juicy homemade BLTs (enjoyed this sandwich head-to-head article from Kitchn on the subject, too). I ended up whipping up my own concoction that I was super pleased with.

Easy, no-fuss travel (after hearing so many horror stories of delays and complications from friends who traveled recently).

Friendly passersby on my nightly walk (or at least the walk I took tonight…which will hopefully become nightly).

The forthcoming fall that feels quite far away in the heat in LA has anything to say about it (but I know it’s coming, nonetheless).

Smoothies!

The lack of humidity in Los Angeles.

Time away.

FOAS.

See you tomorrow friends!
