I’m a Warrior, You’re a Warrior: My Tuesday Gratitudes

Project 365, Day 146/365

Are we all ready? To start our weeks with intention and gratitude? (I am, of course, writing this on Monday, but whose to say you can’t set intentions on Tuesdays, hm? Let me be the one to tell you that you can.) I just finished Love Warrior by Glennon Doyle and I’ve taken to looking at myself in the mirror and reminding myself that I am a warrior, and guess what? You’re a warrior, too. I’ll chant that as many times as I need to to my own face during the week should the moment call for it. I welcome you to join me.

I’m grateful for safe, outdoor lunches with (vaccinated) friends.

I’m grateful for a body slowly but surely getting strong enough for long (to me) walks with other friends through nature and pretty things.

I’m grateful for fruits and veggies to fuel our cells and help us heal.

I’m grateful for technology, that I could help sing in my nephews third birthday, even if just through video chat.

I’m grateful for my brother and my sister, both who made me an aunt and helped my heart grow 10x by loving those little rascals.

I’m grateful for sand and waves and the ocean.

I’m grateful for a blender that actually crushes ice and frozen stuff and doesn’t leave big chunks in my smoothies.

I’m grateful for my trusty yoga mat I’ve had well over a decade.

I’m grateful for movie nights with Charles.

I’m grateful it’s practically June and still nice and cool.

I’m grateful for a supportive boss.

I’m grateful for pretty bowls that make eating cauliflower so much better.

I’m grateful for Arlyn Says readers.

See you tomorrow, FOAS.
