My Favorite House Slipper (A.K.A. Dreamy Feet Covers)

Hello my FOAS. I’m going to keep today short as my body feels a bit off right now and rest is what I need. You know, as much as I can rest with a baby that wakes up 2-3 times a night still. 😉 I’ve actually been meaning to discuss how I’ve felt over the last several months, as so many of you were my light in some very dark times. When I can, I’ll put together that update post I keep mentioning, but in short: I’ve been feeling really good! Most days, I’m at 80-90% of where I used to be, which honestly feels like 200% compared to how bad things were over the past two years for me. Every now and then, like tonight, I have a little crash of energy and feel a bit weak, achy and heavy but the good thing is I know it won’t last.

Anyhow, let me get to it because I’m not exactly brief even when I say I’m going to be!

Product name: Women’s Gripper Slipper at Bombas

A little about it: Slippers that feel and fit more like socks. Genius! Grippies on the bottom make it easy to walk around on hard surfaces like wood and tile. My everyday slippers were clunky and heavy and I was on the hunt for something that felt much lighter yet cozy, and these fit the bill. I decided on the Jewel Purple Jacquard color and they are so lovely in person. Different, comfortable, obsessed. Oh, these would make awesome gifts this holiday season for anyone you know who likes being cozy.

Why I like it: The inside is whispy, soft and feels like a dream on my foot skin. Plus, there’s a cushy insole underneath the brushed lining so you’re not just walking on a thin sock-like product. The material is thick and woven but never feels hot on my feet, and I tend to run warm. The back has a little loop for your finger to help pull them on but I tend to leave these on most of the day that I’m home (which is basically always). Oh, and if you’ve never heard of the brand Bombas, read about their admirable mission here. It’s a company I feel good spending my money with. They have a one purchased = one donated program, they offer a lifetime guarantee on their products (even if your socks or slippers show too much wear and tear, or develop holes or the like, they will gladly replace them…for life).

See you tomorrow, FOAS!
