Rain, String Cheese, Christmas Wreaths: My Tuesday Gratitudes

Happy Tuesday friends! If you were here yesterday, you know I wasn’t. Nothing big to report, just had to cut myself some slack after a very busy weekend and exhaustion after our photoshoot with a friend. Having someone take your picture while you’re trying to look “natural” is always a bit awkward (and physically demanding when you’re carefully trying to climb rocks in a long satin gown) but we got through. She sent through some previews (one of which is the lead image here today), and I can’t wait to get them all back! I’ll likely print a little album of and maybe frame one of our favorites.

I will always make time for my gratitudes though, as it’s my favorite way to feel grounded early on in the week and remind me that there’s always good around.

I’m grateful for photos of Charles and me (and baby in tow) to keep forever.

I’m grateful for friends who truly care SO much and show they do often.

I’m grateful for RAIN (I can currently hear it pitter-pattering on my window sill).

I’m grateful for flannel pajamas because brrrr it’s been cold here.

I’m grateful for the little hicupps in my belly I can feel. It’s currently the cutest thing in the world to me.

I’m grateful for legs that got me through yesterday without too much trouble (even if I’m paying for it today).

I’m grateful for Christmas and the Christmas season.

I’m grateful for living in beautiful California.

I’m grateful for string cheese (random but so good).

I’m grateful for the joy the wreathe I finally hung on my door brings me when I look at it.

I’m grateful for holiday movies in bed.

I’m grateful my mom nearly always picks up the phone when I call, with a delighted greeting, even if I talked to her the day before.

I’m grateful for this life, even through the hard days.

I’m grateful for Charles.

I’m grateful for you, readers.

See you tomorrow, FOAS.
